We are wired to have a story. We love stories. Even when we dream, there is a story happening. Stories can teach us morals and lessons, and they are incredibly useful for remembering information; however, they can also be really bad if we happen to be telling ourselves unhelpful stories.

10. Confidence. It’s Relative.
We all have plenty of confidence. Just not always in the facets of life we desire. To build confidence in an activity, we must practice the activity. We also need to challenge our thoughts.
4. You are the CEO of YOU
Self-awareness is an important component of personal success and self-leadership. It goes beyond knowing your likes and dislikes, and what you are feeling. Developing self-awareness requires an understanding of our thoughts, views, values, attitudes, triggers, strengths, weaknesses, habits, and what environments suit us best. It also involves understanding how we are perceived by others and the impact we have on them.

When we are born into this world, we arrive with clean belief slates; yet, over time, things heard from family members, friends, and the influence of society as a whole, all contribute to building our belief systems.
